Our coaches have been riding, running, and helping others improve their fitness for years. Each instructor brings a different set of experiences and knowledge that we can use to help every level of athlete get stronger, more confident, and accomplish their goals.

Lauri Brockmiller, Owner

The Queen BEE is the driving force behind every interval, every workout, and every strength class at BEE. One of the most prolific mountain bike racers in the state of Michigan, she knows what it means to balance fitness and family.

Lauri runs all of our strength classes as well as the morning cycling classes.

Susan is one of the must successful athletes in Traverse City, but you’d never know it talking to her as a humble, positive, and perpetually upbeat instructor. She’s been cycling, skiing, and taking strength classes for years and brings a wealth of knowledge to her students.

Cody Sovis, Instructor

CAT 1 Mountain Biker

Few riders have as much depth in knowledge on cycling tactics, training, and racing as Cody. An Elite level mountain biker, he’s recently joined BEE as an instructor to help bring what he’s learned to more local athletes. He loves a gritting gravel race, lots of climbing, and tackling the toughest events on the calendar.
